I was planning to go to bed by 2 am last night, which, for me, is early, but as it turns out. I didn’t. Which means I missed Cath, like, completely. Argh. :mad: it’s awful missing rp partners with busy as hell schedules. D: It really doesn’t help that she’s in the UK, either.

Anyway, I didn’t go to bed last night when I wanted too not because I did the usual and got distracted, but because my little sister got sick. Poor doll, she was still sick today – though I think she’s getting better. Mum thinks it might have been the heat, we’re getting weather near 40°C at the moment, which is something like 105°F, I think. Or, in translation: REALLY. FUCKING. HOT.

Amen.

Dear heat, please go pick on somewhere else.

Alphasmart Longings and Craftiness

It’ll be a few days, maybe a week or so until I get my Alphasmart. I wish I could say I was a patient person but I’m not and I wish it was here already! I want to make it a fabric cover/case but can’t even start on that until I have the alphasmart to work out the dimensions and stuff.

This sucks. In this day and age shipping still takes aaaages too long.

I have a fun idea I can work on for now, though. It’s a little hush-hush until I’m sure it’ll work. Maybe I should go make some owls or something to cheer myself up with. I love me some owls.

Also, I think I’m converting Nicole into being a crafter – she cam over today to make bracelets but we didn’t get much done. Maybe another day when she can come over earlier.

Also, has anyone ever done one of those hollow book boxes?

Teddies and dolls and softies and Echo and being a little childish sometimes. I love going for walks with my friends to stick my toys on fences and bushes to take pictures and giggle.

I love my rainbow ribbon.

And you know what? I’m okay with that.

Okay, so. No Merlin because… well because I found myself ranting about Gwen because I can’t make sense of the woman even though she is buckets of awesome… (on the BBC’s Merlin. Other Gwens make me go all Smashdown on their faces…)

Echo and I went on a walk with Nicole today, we took plenty of pics which I’ll probably edit and post up tomorrow. It was fun, I’m working on a design for Echo’s own little backpack, too. Maybe a felt hat…
